WIU-Macomb, -Quad Cities Delayed Start until Noon Jan. 22

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - Due to the weather and road conditions, the Western Illinois University-Macomb and -Quad Cities campuses will be closed this morning and open at noon today, Jan. 22.
All classes in person and online with a start time prior to noon will not meet, and all classes beginning at, or after, noon will continue as scheduled.
University residence halls will remain open, and students are welcome to continue moving in. Go West buses will operate on normal routes. For the most up-to-date route information, please refer to the Go West Transit app, Go West on Facebook,.
When the University is closed, employees will be dismissed from and paid for their regular working shift. Employees working in essential positions may be required to work their regular hours during a total shutdown. The determination of essential versus nonessential employees will be made by the supervisor based on the nature of the advisory situation.
