President Goldfarb's Holiday Letter

Western Illinois University Faculty, Staff and Students:
As we enter the winter holidays, I encourage the University community to celebrate all that we should be thankful for, especially the friendly and caring nature of our campus community. We should consider the successes and opportunities we have enjoyed this past year. We should also take the time to appreciate our families, colleagues and friends.
Elaine and I, as well as our children, cannot adequately express our gratitude for the many friendships we have made since joining the Western Illinois University community. I am honored to serve as the President of this outstanding university, and I look forward to our third holiday season at Western.
Elaine and I would like to invite all faculty, staff, students and community members to join us for a holiday open house at the University Residence from 3-6 p.m Wednesday, Dec. 8. We hope to see you all there.
