President Goldfarb Extends Holiday Greeting

Dear Campus Community,
Elaine and I want to again thank everyone for all of their support, emails, cards, letters, and kind words during the past weeks.
I am on the road to full recovery from prostate cancer surgery and the removal of a benign, unrelated growth four weeks later. My doctors indicated removal of the benign growth would alleviate the potential for future discomfort and it could be accomplished while I was already on leave.
During this holiday season, I am especially thankful to know that I will soon return to Western and resume all of my duties. I look forward to seeing all of you early in January.
Elaine and I wish everyone a healthy and joyous holiday season.
