McDonald's Senior Marketing Director to Give Talk Sept. 30 at Western

MACOMB, IL - - McDonald's USA Senior Marketing Director Carol Koepke will present "Brand McDonald's -- Marketing in Extraordinary Times" at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30 at Western Illinois University's Macomb campus. Koepke's presentation will be held in the University Union Grand Ballroom and is open free to the public.

Through her presentation, Koepke will expand on how McDonald's reignited its brand and its overall business with the company's "Plan to Win." She will also discuss the company's fundamental marketing shift, which entailed "going back to basics" to determine a path for success in the future. Her comments will also touch on the ways in which this marketing strategy is benefiting McDonald's today.

At McDonald's, Koepke is responsible for leading and developing strategic direction and marketing promotions for more than 14,000 McDonald's restaurants in the United States. Specifically, she oversees an innovative and talented team of marketing professionals that craft the national promotions that bring McDonald's to life for consumers of all ages.
