Black History Month Brown Bag Lunch Series

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center (GBCC) will present a Black History Month Brown Bag Series. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunches to the events.
All programs will be held on Wednesdays from noon-1 p.m. in the Multicultural Center, Room 115.
The topics and presenters include:
Feb. 09: Buffalo Soldier Mutiny, video and discussion
Feb. 16: History of the Black Family, presented by Essie Rutledge, retired professor of sociology/anthropology
Feb. 23: Black American History: Pre-Slavery, video and discussion
