PAS Wine Tasting 2011 On February 26

MACOMB, IL – Save the date – Saturday, Feb. 26 – for the Performing Arts Society Wine Tasting 2011, featuring up to 60 fine wines to sample, savory hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction. The annual fundraising event will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Western Illinois University Union Heritage Room. The PAS Wine Tasting is underwritten by Citizens Bank, Macomb, a division of Morton Community Bank.

Enjoy a relaxing evening with friends from the University and the greater Macomb community, sampling wines specially ordered for this event, while the WIU President's International String Quartet provides enjoyable background music.

Black tie is optional, and valet parking will be available at the Union's Murray Street entrance.

A non-alcoholic reservation is available for those who love the company but do not drink wine; or for those who want to be a designated driver. The non-alcoholic reservation includes all the fun – hors d'oeuvres, silent auction and a beverage – for $20.

The Performing Arts Society (PAS) includes community and University volunteers who, as patrons of the arts, are dedicated to advancing arts programming. PAS raises funds through memberships and social fundraising functions to support arts programming though Western's College of Fine Arts and Communication, including the Youth Performing Arts Series (YPAS) and the Bureau of Cultural Affairs (BCA).
