WIU-QC RPTA Extravaganza Feb. 25 at Barrel House Open to Students, Public

MOLINE, IL/DAVENPORT, IA — The Western Illinois University-Quad Cities Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration (RPTA) is hosting an RPTA Extravaganza from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25 at the Barrel House in Davenport, IA.

The event, which is open free to the public, will provide RPTA students at the WIU-QC campus with the opportunity to learn more about various programs offered, including information about outdoor activities, as well as about event planning and management programs at WIU. It will also give QC-area employers the chance to meet students who may be interested in internships.

A short program is set to begin at 6 p.m., and appetizers will be served. For more information, contact Katherine Broughton at KA-Broughton@wiu.edu.
