WIU School of Ag Spring '16 Open House: Record Number of Attendees

MACOMB, IL — Faculty and staff in the WIU School of Agriculture (as well as staff from numerous other offices/programs at ‪WIU‬) hosted a record number of School of Ag Open House attendees today on campus, according to student recruiter Christian Thurwanger (Sycamore, IL).

Students from various parts of Illinois and beyond started their day at the WIU Livestock Center and were treated to tours of campus and the University Farm, a complimentary lunch, and specific information about opportunities and courses available in School of Agriculture, one of WIU's Signature Programs.

Emmi is a student at Lincolnland Community College and said she is interested in ag at Western because of it's a "great program." She also said she has an interest in taking advantage of WIU's study abroad courses/programs for ag.
