WIU-QC to Host Big Table Talk Nov. 2

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL — Western Illinois University, in partnership with the Quad Cities Chamber, United Way, Q2030 and Women United, will host a "Big Table Talk" with local business owners, politicians and high-level executives at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2 in Riverfront Hall, room 103/104. This event is free and open to childcare providers across the Quad City area.

"Early Childhood Educators are magic! They partner with parents to grow brains at the most important time in a child's life," said WIU Director of the Center for Best Practices in Early Childhood Education and School of Education Professor Lindsay Meeker. "Let's use this opportunity to elevate the voice of early childhood in the Quad Cities."
