Webster Named March Employee of the Month

MACOMB, IL -- The Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) at Western Illinois University is pleased to announce Cheryl Webster, accountant IV for Western’s business services, has been selected as the March Civil Service Employee of the Month.

Webster was recognized by her nominators for her “vast knowledge in her field of expertise.” According to the nominators, Webster also has the great ability to share her know-how with others and “she is always available for others and she has great patience with her staff.” Webster was also commended for taking problems in stride and completing the goals of her department in a professional and caring manner.

Webster started in WIU’s accounting office in July 1988 as an accountant I. She has held her accountant IV position since June 1998.

“We are pleased to recognize Cheryl for her professionalism and the extra effort she puts forth on a daily basis,” said Paula Stull, CSEC public relations officer.
