MACOMB, IL – The Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) at Western Illinois University is pleased to announce that Marcia Blackledge, an assistant manager for University Information Management Systems, has been selected as the April Civil Service Employee of the Month.

Blackledge was described by her nominators as being “extremely dedicated, knowledgeable and an outstanding individual.” In addition, her nominators said that “Marcia is enthusiastic and always willing to take on additional responsibilities.”

Blackledge started at Western in 1977 as a key punch operator I.

“We’d like to congratulate Marcia for her excellent work and for her commitment to Western,” said Janet Koll, CSEC public relations officer.
