MACOMB, IL - - Ericka Hendrickson has been appointed director of development for the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at Western Illinois University, effective July 31, according to Inessa Levi, Dean of CAS.

“We are excited to have Ericka on board as our director of development. Although we’ve engaged in numerous activities to get the ball rolling for advancement in the college, this marks the first time we’ve had a professional solely dedicated to the task,” Levi said.

Hendrickson, a long-time Macomb resident, plays an active role in the community. Her involvement with local organizations such as the Macomb Educational Foundation Board of Directors and the Macomb High School Bomber Booster Club Board of Directors, as well as her recent work as sales representative for Ventiv Health U. S. Sales, are examples of what Hendrickson contributes to the position, Levi added.

“WIU is fortunate to have a person with the community ties and business experience that Ericka brings to her job,” said Western’s Vice President for Advancement and Public Services, Dan Hendricks. “She will have significant impact on future support of the college and is a welcome addition to our new fundraising team.”

Hendrickson, wife of WIU assistant head football coach and offensive coordinator Mark Hendrickson, received her graduate degree from Georgia State University (1988) and her bachelor’s degree from Marycrest College (1984).
