MACOMB, IL -- The Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) at Western Illinois University is pleased to announce that Marsha Icenogle, a building services worker, was selected as the February Civil Service Employee of the Month.

Icenogle's nominators cited her "extreme pride in her job and going the extra mile to help her peers."

"Marsha keeps the Alumni House looking like a showcase. She takes it upon herself to ensure everything is in working order and in pristine condition," one of her nominators said. "She is an important part of our team."

Another nominator added she "continually demonstrates enthusiasm for her job and makes sure that every detail is taken care of daily."

"She always makes sure the walkways are cleared during the winter months and is always looking for ways to improve the environment in our office," her nominators said.

Icenogle, who is currently assigned to the Alumni House, Mowbray Hall and the Art Gallery, started at WIU in August 1980.

"Marsha's strong work ethic and her cooperative spirit are to be applauded. We are proud to recognize her as the February Employee of the Month," said Katharine D. Barrett, CSEC public relations officer.

Western faculty, staff and administrators, as well as community members, wishing to nominate a civil service employee for this recognition should contact Barrett at
