Assistant Director of Development Interviews

MACOMB, IL -- Two candidates for the Western Illinois University assistant director of development-annual fund position will be on campus for interviews May 20 and May 22, according Development Research Analyst Specialist Meredith Berg, chair of the search committee.

Candidates include Racheal Carstens, marketing coordinator, Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, IA, Tuesday, May 20 and Timothy Hallinan, director of fund development, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley Thursday, May 22.

Open meetings for the campus community with the candidates will be held at 10 a.m. May 20 (Carstens) and May 22 (Hallinan). The May 20 open session will be held in the University Union Lincoln Room West; while the May 22 open meetings will be held in the University Union Sandburg Lounge.

The assistant director of development-annual fund is responsible for planning and designing strategies to conduct a comprehensive year-round annual giving campaign that currently raises more than $1.2 million annually, including directing all phone, mail, matching gifts and volunteer-led gift fundraising.
