Juneman Named Employee of the Month

MACOMB, IL -- Christine Juneman, the routing supervisor for Physical Plant building maintanence, has been named the Western Illinois University August Civil Service Employee of the Month.

According to Juneman's nominator, "Chris receives hundreds of calls from the campus community and always keeps a smile on her face and a cheerful voice. She keeps things running smoothly and has an upbeat attitude. Chris is always willing to help."

Juneman began working at Western in 1990 as a draftsman. In 1993 her position was reclassified as an architectural draftsman I and four years later, the position was reclassified as a routing supervisor.

"Employeess like Christine are an asset to the campus and our community," said Greg Phelps, Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) interim public relations representative. "We are pleased to present the August award to Christine as she is quite deserving of this recognition.:
