Isaac, Morgan Named King and Queen for WIU's 2008 Homecoming

MACOMB, IL - - Maxwell Isaac (Zion, IL), a junior law enforcement and justice administration major representing Sigma Chi fraternity, and Allison Morgan (Godfrey, IL), a senior early childhood education major representing Phi Sigma Sigma sorority, were crowned King and Queen of Western Illinois University's 2008 Homecoming - - "Rocky Loves the '90s."

They were crowned at the Oct. 14 Homecoming Variety Show in Western Hall.

Isaac has served as an Interfraternity Council delegate on behalf of Sigma Chi; and he has worked as a resident assistant, a member of the University's orientation team and a student orientation staff (SOS) leader for first year students. He also serves as a Student Judicial Programs board member and gives University tours to potential students and their families. He is the son of Blake and Lisa Isaac of Zion.

Morgan serves as secretary on the Panhellenic Council, is a student worker in the Knoblauch Hall advising center and was a SOS leader. She has worked as a tutor at Macomb's Lincoln School for the America Reads Program, and in Summer 2008 she participated in Western's Volunteer Services trip to Greece to teach English to children. She is the daughter of Matt and Marsha Morgan of Godfrey.

Isaac and Morgan will ride in the 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 Homecoming Parade and will be recognized at halftime of the 3:05 p.m. Fighting Leathernecks versus Indiana State football game at Hanson Field.

Western's 2008 Royalty Court includes the following:

David Arnold (Williamsville, IL), a junior marketing major, is sponsored by Bayliss and Henninger halls.

Michael Barrera (Tinley Park, IL), a senior law enforcement and justice administration major, is sponsored by Western's Latin American Student Organization (LASO).

Laura Dzielski (Bartlett, IL), a senior finance major, is sponsored by Delta Zeta sorority.

Kristin Fiebrandt (Lombard, IL), a senior music education – choral/general major, is sponsored by Lincoln/Washington/Grote halls.

Kara Lowe (Palatine, IL), a senior marketing major, is sponsored by Alpha Sigma Tau sorority, which she serves as president.

Kelsey Schutz (White Hall, IL), a junior social work, is major sponsored by Thompson Hall.

Zach Sipes (Montgomery, IL), a senior mathematics education major, is sponsored by Lincoln/Washington/Grote halls government.

Trent Wilking (Kankakee, IL), a junior law enforcement and justice administration major, is sponsored by Tanner Hall.
