"The Vagina Monologues" to be Performed Feb. 11-13

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Women's Center and Feminist Action Alliance student organization will sponsor three benefit performances of Eve Ensler's award-winning play, "The Vagina Monologues," at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 11-13 in the Multicultural Center.

Tickets, $10 for students and $12 for non-students, may be purchased at the Women's Center, from the cast and crew, or at tables in the University Union. As part of the fundraising efforts, buttons, T-shirts, books and other V-Day merchandise also will be for sale. Proceeds from ticket and merchandise sales will be donated to V-Day International, the University Counseling Center, the Women's Center for violence prevention and survivor support services, and to the Western Illinois Regional Council-Community Action Agency's (WIRC-CAA) Victim Services Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Agency.
