Dialogue about Diabetes: Get Cooking, Exercise and Health Tips Feb. 24

MACOMB, IL -- Come and join in the "Dialogue about Diabetes" at Western Illinois University from 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 in Knoblauch Hall 239 (corporate dining room). Provided through the Bella Hearst Diabetes Institute, the session will provide cooking tips for those with diabetes; supply health tips, food samples and recipes; and provide a demonstration of how to engage in chair exercises and use resistance bands to work in a bit of a work out while seated.

Dialogue about Diabetes is open to WIU students, faculty and staff, and the cost is $7 per person. Make checks payable to: Bella Hearst Diabetes Institute. A resistance band will be provided to each participant.

Registration is due to the Campus Recreation office by Friday, Feb. 19. For registration questions, contact the Campus Recreation office at (309) 298-1228.
