Mathematics Resource Office (MRO)

Location: Morgan Hall 209
Phone: (309) 298-2275

MRO is an integral component in the delivery of service activities conducted by the faculty in the Department of Mathematics. The MRO contains numerous resources for use by in-service and pre-service teachers. Professional journals, such as the Mathematics Teacher: Learning and Teaching PK-12 and Journal for Research in Mathematics Education are available, as well as professional resource materials including books, graphing calculators, and textbook series for K-12.

Math 106 and 206

MRO is also used for tutoring students working on a degree in elementary education. Students working on an area of concentration in mathematics serve as tutors for Math 106 and 206. In addition to the tutoring that is available, students are encouraged to make use of the facility for other educational purposes and pursuits.
