The Fall 2026 Welcome Crew Application is available!
Individuals who volunteer to be a part of the Welcome Crew will help all students move into their residence hall room on Thursday, August 20, and Friday, August 22, 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 pm.
Move-In for Fall 2026 begins Thursday, August 20, at 8 a.m.

What do I do as a part of the Welcome Crew?
- There are four types of roles as a member of Welcome Crew!
- Movers - Traditional Welcome Crew role, volunteers will be assigned a cart, help load and unload the belongings of individuals moving in.
- Elevator Duty - Volunteers will be stationed in each hall's elevator and will be responsible for taking Welcome Crew, and students up and down.
- Work a shift (or multiple!) between August 20-21, 2026! (Crew members must be free to work on Thursday and/or Friday.
- Attend a required Training Session on August 19.
- Greet families & new students as they prepare for the coming year.
- Socialize and have FUN!
How do I benefit from helping?
- EARLY MOVE-IN beat the traffic and move in as early as Wednesday, August 19, 2026!
- Service Hours for shifts completed
- Opportunity to meet new students
- Build leadership skills
Important Information
- Last day to apply is June 1, 2026

- If you are unable to assist during the following times, we encourage you not to apply for the Welcome Crew:
- Thursday, August 20: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Friday, August 21: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- **2026-2027 Resident Assistants cannot volunteer for Welcome Crew.**
- **Incoming first-year students cannot volunteer for Welcome Crew.**
- **If you do not attend the training session and complete your scheduled assignment(s), you will be charged a no-show fee at the current early move-in daily rate ($75/day).**
