MACOMB, IL – Staff and faculty at Western Illinois University Libraries are coordinating the "Art and Self Perception" series of events and lectures for the 2012-13 academic year to promote art events. According to Dean of Libraries Phyllis Self, a majority of the events will take place either in the Leslie F. Malpass Library on the Macomb campus or at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport (IA).

"This is a wonderful opportunity for several departments and units at Western, such as the museum studies program, the art department and the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs, to collaborate and cross-promote their events to a broader audience. I hope people will participate in several events," Self said.
