2017-11-16 ResNet Network Maintenance

The uTech network team will be doing maintenance on the ResNet network Thursday November 16th at 3:30 PM. No outages are expected.

 

 

2017-10-27 Wireless Maintenance

Friday October 27th beginning at 3:00 am the network team will be upgrading the wireless controllers for the Macomb, ResNet, and QC. All work is expected to be completed by 7:00 am. During this time there will be disruptions and wireless may not be available for extended periods of time.

 

2017-10-13 ResNet Wireless Maintenance

On October 17th at 8am the Network Team will be doing maintenance on the ResNet wireless network.  This will allow Nintendo Wii consoles to connect to the wireless. No interruptions are expected.

 

2017-10-06 ResNet DNS Server Maintenance

One of the three (3) ResNet DNS servers will be replaced on Friday October 6, 2017 between 8:00 - 9:00 am. No outage is expected.

 

2017-09-15 Westbrook House Network Maintenance

The uTech network team will be performing network maintenance on September 15th at 11:00 P.M. This work will cause a short network outage.

 

 

2017-08-10 ResNet DNS server maintenance

The Network Team will be performing maintenance on the ResNet DNS servers between 08:00 am - 10:00 am on August 10, 2017. Servers will be patched and rebooted one at a time and tested before the next server is updated. ResNet has three (3) active DNS servers and all clients receive all three servers from DHCP so there should not be any outages from a customer point of view.

 

2017-01-06 ResNet network device maintenance

The uTech network team will be upgrading network devices within ResNet on January 06, 2017 between 9:00 pm and midnight. Each building will experience a short network outage during this time.  Please contact the uTech Support Center at (309) 298-TECH with any questions and a technician will get back to you as soon as they are available.

 

2017-01-05 ResNet DNS server maintenance

The Network Team will be performing maintenance on the ResNet DNS servers between 08:00 am - 10:00 am on January 05, 2017. Servers will be patched and rebooted one at a time and tested before the next server is updated. ResNet has three (3) active DNS servers and all clients receive all three servers from DHCP so there should not be any outages from a customer point of view.

2016-11-04 ResNet DNS server maintenance

The Network Team will be performing maintenance on the ResNet DNS servers between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on November 04, 2016. Servers will be patched and rebooted one at a time and tested before the next server is updated. ResNet has three (3) active DNS servers and all clients receive all three servers from DHCP so there should not be any outages from a customer point of view.

 

2016-09-23 Westbrook House Scheduled Network Outage

On Friday September 23, 2016 Facilities Management will be performing maintenance on the cable that connects Westbrook House's wireless antenna to the building's network equipment. This will cause an outage for the duration of the work being performed. The connection will be disabled around 5:00 am and should be operational by NOON. Please contact the uTech Support Center at (309) 298-TECH with any questions and a technician will get back to you as soon as they are available.

 

2016-08-12 Wireless Controller Maintenance

The Network Team will be doing wireless maintenance on August 12th from 4am until 7am. Wireless maybe unavailable during that time. Please report any problems to the uTech Support Center (309) 298-TECH.
