Getting your ECom Account

ECom accounts are managed via


Students receive their ECom account information when they are accepted to Western Illinois University. Newly accepted students will receive an email from the appropriate Admissions office with their WIU ID number, instructions on locating their ECom username, and information on activating their WIU email address. 

Information is also available to students through their STARS account under the address section. 

Faculty & Staff

Newly hired faculty and staff will receive an email from Human Resources with their ECom information once their contract is processed.
