Updates on unexpected interruptions or outages will be posted below. Note that STARS and WIUP are offline for maintenance every night from midnight to 3:00 a.m, and some Sundays between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Other systems may be offline between 9:00 p.m. Friday and 6:00 a.m. Saturday for scheduled server maintenance. Routine maintenance outside of these windows are posted to our Facebook and Twitter feeds.

All network issues related to Thursday morning's severe weather have been resolved. Frontier Communications and their support partners are continuing to troubleshoot the issues impacting phone service on the Macomb campus this morning. Users will continue to experience difficulty placing and receiving phone calls until the vendor has restored services. Unfortunately we have no ETA from the phone company on when service will be restored.

The phone outage affecting the Macomb campus is due to electrical outage issues at the Frontier office in Macomb. There will be phone issues until they restore power. Frontier technicians are working with their support to restore service; no ETA for restoration is available at this time.
