Upcoming Civil Service Meetings (All meetings are scheduled 1:00 p.m. -2:30 p.m. in Physical Plant Training Room unless otherwise noted)

provide up to 9 scholarships to dependents of Civil Service employees, which include the Jackie Thompson Scholarship and the CSEC Memorial Scholarship
provide up to 5 textbook scholarships to Civil Service employees every semester
work with the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) in the formation of policies related to all Civil Service employees
provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and to relay directives between the employee groups and the CHRO
make recommendations to the CHRO and provide guidance to Civil Service employees, in conjunction with the Civil Service Advisory Committee Representative to the Merit Board, and member(s) representing Western Illinois University Campus Community
support the Value, the Vision, the Mission and the Strategic Plan of Western Illinois University
