GIS Center to host precision farming presentation

The Western Illinois University GIS Center will host a presentation on Global Positioning Systems (GPS) applications in precision farming on Thursday, March 26th at 7:00 PM at the University of Illinois Extension - McDonough County Office, 3022 W Jackson in Macomb (4-H Fairgrounds).
Featured speaker, Mr. Ryan Leonard (Kara Company Inc.), will provide an overview of available technologies and current and future Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS applications in agriculture. Ryan Leonard is the Sales Manager at Kara Company, Inc., a Chicago based company specializing in high end GPS equipment and measuring solutions.
